THE YOUTH FILM SCHOOL IS AN INTERACTIVE FILM-MAKING SCHOOL FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, AGED 6 – 18 YEARS. STUDENTS SCRIPT, SHOOT AND EDIT THEIR OWN FILMS IN OUR FILM-MAKING CLASSES. WE OFFER A FULL SCHOOLS PROGRAMME AS WELL AS COMMUNITY FILM OPPORTUNITIES

Our Aim

The aim of the film school is to give children the opportunity to use their creativity to make films.
We give them the training, support and the equipment necessary, and encourage students to go on and make their own films as young people and as adults

Industry Professionals

Visiting industry professionals will teach film make-up, costume design, film music, a drama workshop, stunt work, and more. Creativity is encouraged, and we are always very pleased with the new and interesting script ideas, which the students develop

Video Editing

We will introduce you to the world of computer generated imagery (CGI). During the day we will cover the creation of effects including smoke, fire, explosions, gun shots.
